Bayer Polymers has upgraded its research and development capabilities at its Americas headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA. The investment includes the renovation and installation of several new labs at its Americas Technical Center that are designed to help develop and test new polyurethane and coatings materials, evaluate applications and processes and provide technical support to a wide range of polymers customers.
The center includes an environmental testing chamber, a weathering lab and laboratories to conduct R&D activities. Two similar centers are located in Leverkusen, Germany and Shanghai, China.
